Due to the way Merchant Center works, we are unable to connect to MCA or Mult-Client Account Merchant Centers.

In receiving this error, you had attempted to connect to the Gmail attached to the MCA.

How do I fix this?

If you have a separate Gmail address attached to the sub-account Merchant Center, please utilize this Gmail account to authenticate with.

It cannot be the same Gmail which is already attached to the MCA.

I don't have a Gmail attached to the Sub-Account

Should you not have a Gmail attached to a sub-account:

  • Log into your Merchant Center MCA
  • Click Accounts
  • Locate the sub-account you wish to connect to
  • Click on the 3-dot icon in the upper right-hand corner
  • Click Users

Now click on the blue + icon under Merchant Center users

  • Type in a new email address (Gmail) in the field provided
  • Click Add User

Now you must return to the app and Authenticate to that Gmail account for the correct sub-account.
