Default Child SKUs / Options Only

By default, our app will only import your options / child SKUs upon initial installation which does not recognize any preset configurations in your store using the Legacy Google Shopping settings.

This includes Product IDs.

How do I reset to my Legacy Settings (Parent SKUs only)?

Presently, you will need to contact our team via live chat or email and we will trigger a re-import using the Legacy settings.

This will reformat your Product IDs to their original state had you utilized either of the Legacy Google Shopping options in BigCommerce.

The average time to complete a full reprocessing is 2 hours due to Google Merchant Center cache latency.

How does this affect my existing Shopping campaigns?

Anytime a new Primary Feed is submitted wherein Product IDs change, your existing Shopping campaigns can cease to function properly.

As a result, new Shopping campaigns must be created when using the new feed with new IDs.

What if I want to send my options / child SKUs?

In the event you wish to send your options / child SKUs, understand that by selecting this as your new feed setting:

Your Product IDs stemming from your original Legacy feeds will most likely change and thus can affect any existing Google Shopping campaigns.

You will most likely need to create new Shopping campaigns to properly run on the new feed settings.

But, how do I enable my new feed for those settings?

Presently, you will need to contact our team via live chat or email and we will trigger a re-import using the Legacy settings.

This includes resetting to your Parent Product IDs only.

What if I don't use the Legacy settings? 

You will need to either: 

  • Fill these settings for each product you wish to Enable for Google Shopping
  • Ensure that required attributes are set up for your options
