When trying to set up Google in Sales & Orders, Step 4 of the Google wizard "Claim Website" may throw and error Error Claiming website. (see below)

This typically occurs when your Website URL either:

  • Has not been set and saved yet

  • Does not match your live domain

To correct this:

  • Log into Google Merchant Center

  • Click the Gear icon

  • Click on Business information

  • Click on Website

  • Set your correct Website URL and click SAVE
