FAQ: Why does my Feed Processing Status say "Export Failed"?
Updated over a week ago

The first thing we recommend (before checking any of the below possibilities) is to simply Send Feed:

If that doesn't work, continue below:

This is most commonly related to not being fully authenticated to a particular channel (such as Google) in the app.

Get back to the Channel and Program Wizards, open the main navigation. Then, click on the Add Features button to continue.

Find the channel or program you would like to complete the setup for and then click Activate:

But the channel is checked off...

It is also possible that you are simply disconnected from a specific channel.

You can reset your connection by going to Account Settings > Connections and then Sign in with whichever channel is disconnected.

For example, when disconnected from Google, you'll see the prompt to reauthenticate:

Export Failed for Bing and/or Facebook (Channel Is Already Checked)

In some rare cases, you may receive Export Failed for Bing and/or Facebook even though the authentication shows connected.

This generally only happens because of the following:

  • Bing: The Catalog ID shown in the app is not connected to an active Catalog in Microsoft Merchant center or the Catalog was subsequently deleted at some point.

  • Facebook: The Catalog ID shown in the app is not connected to an active Catalog in Facebook Catalog Manager or the Catalog ID is an older Catalog that may not be compatible with an API solution such as S&O.

In the event you feel this may be the case for either, contact our team for further assistance.
